evolved beyond the "institutional" look and feel of decades past. Today, more and more colleges and universities are offering students the conveniences of a village-style community. Everything from multi-bedroom, apartment housing that includes furniture and a

full compliment of modern appliances, to multiple brand name retailers, a variety of eateries, workout and health facilities, banking centers and more. Here are a few examples recently photographed at a nearby college.
